Football League Two
Saturday 24th October.
I wonder if Robbie Williams was there? He's a Port Vale fan - does he bank roll the club?
Apparently Cheltenham could have gone in 3-0 down at half time. Then they rallied and dominated towards the end of the second half. Pook's goal was a scorcher but Bird and Hammond had good chances which were not put away. Cheltenham are going to have to get nasty and score goals. I know it upsets the other side and their fans get despondent and take it very personnally but we've suffered enough.
Cheltenham Town (4-3-3): S Brown; H Eyjolfsson, D Diallo, M Townsend, J Low; M Pook, D Bird (c), T Lewis (B Hayles 78); E Hammond, J Alsop (J Richards 70), F Artus. Subs not used: B Richardson, A Gallinagh, D Hutton, M Watkins, K Haynes.
Referee: S D Cook.
Attendance: 4,979 (182 from Cheltenham)
